You want to have a fun and engaging social media profile photo and cover photo ( Your personal profile )
Ask yourself the question. Who are you and what do you stand for?

Just be yourself, and the people that get you will get you… so you want a profile that respresents you…
Make sure you picture is clear and inviting… You need to get a current photo. That means a current photo, not that high school photo (High School Picture… REALLY?!!)

A smile is the best accessory that you have and can get a ton of mileage out of your social media with a smile.

Social media is about connecting . Make sure people that people can follow you turn on the follow button make sure you have a public profile

Complete your entire bio. (What do you like what do you do)

Profile settings you wan to set these set to public. I do not do anything online that does not want to be seen… If you have it set to Friends so if a person just met you they jump on Facebook they want to look at you…

people are naturally nosey and people click on things..

DO POST ENGAGING CONTENT

Posting is essential to social media success. You need to post at least 3 to 5 times a day… you have to be engaging content  and engaging others

Know your Target Audience – know who you are speaking . Your VIBE WILL ATTRACT YOUR TRIBE

Ask them questions…Its not build a business media it’s social media…
Post Quotes! People who like and comment on your post those who you want to reach out too…

Post funny pictures!

LIVE VIDEOS! put yourself on a 30 day challenge every day go live… every single day…
Topic of the day… VIDEOS

Native format upload straight phone to Facebook… Facebook does not want you to send Youtube… so the raw file goes form your phone straight to FB….

So do videos if you are not doing videos then I hate to say it you are simply not in business because we live in a video society and people need to see you and know like and trust you.

Lifestyle Photos and promote the end game… watch the commercials of someone having this glorious life at the end…

DONT’S

Don’t Post about your business all day!
Its not engaging content and if people do not comment on it FB is not going to give it any legs…

Don’t spam other peoples timelines and post about your business (i.e go to tony robbins find the post with the most people on the thread and then at the very bottom leave a comment “To find out about the best xyz then shoot me a message”

LEARN HOW TO BE A CONNECTOR

Go Look for people within your niche and  find people in your industry (i.e Tony Robbins, Eric Whorre, ect.)  that have a follow button and and see what is open on their profile and check feed to actually comment on or like… to be connected with. You never know where a connection will take you.

Don’t force your views on others ( i.e Politics or religion ) are strictly taboo topics and need to be avoided…

Put your company name in your name (unless you own that company) people People join people not companies… and you want to connect with people not companies… Newbies make this common mistake…

DON’T have pictures of your PETS
DON’T Post pictures in your header PICTURES OF SUUFF / i.e YOUR GRAPE JUICE YOUR CREAMS LOTIONS  ect.

So send a video in the group to help someone solve a problem that speaks with them….

People are creating groups right now and every minute someone is hitting submit on the button of a network marketing company sign up form …There are people that always need to know what to do…

HOW TO JOIN GROUPS

Google how to join Facebook Groups. Facebook lets you know what groups your friends are in.  How to join to Join suggested groups…

Join groups where your audience hangs out… you have to know the group of people that you provide a
solution for… when are they online usually?

Be a person of value in Groups so Videos are extremely powerful… “You want to develop your own voice” So you become a value of group… in the spam groups there is no moderation so you can teach inside of FB groups…

ENGAGE ON POSTS and see who is just posted (not a auto-poster) and engage the post like it and we want them to come to my profile and check me out… and one way is by engagement

FOLLOW people that you find interesting ask yourself ( is this someone that you want to hang out on the beach with )
I try to find people that I want

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS TO THE GROUP… and see who just joined… and welcome the new members and you get visible so you get in the spotlight…

Know the group rules before you post… look at the description… Take not of the groups that you enjoy and what they do and don’t do…
DON’T ADD people to groups without their permission

DON’T Hijack a comments… and just but in the conversation and dominate it

DON’T pitch a biz opportunity  from a group people don’t join from the group so teach them something (become valuable)

FACEBOOK FAN PAGE BASICS

DON’T create a profile for your business you want to create a fan page instead

Invest and set aside a budget and defiantly have a budget for advertising… so you want to have a fan page your leveraging. Yes even $5.00 dollars a day is huge

WHY GET A FAN PAGE / LIKES PAGE / BUSINESS PAGE

No friend limit (5000 max limit on personal profile)
Allows insight for you to get on your audience (when you start running ads you will get critical need to know data)
Allows you to market to target prospects (marketing to everyone is marketing to know one )
Very affordable marketing strategy (cannot run ads from a profile page)
Fan pages are indexed on Google

HOW TO CREATE A FAN PAGE

What kind of page you should create ?

I personally would create a Public Figure it depends on if you are a local business (brick and mortar)
remember a Local Business or place you need to have a physical address.

You can have as many fan pages and you can actually merge them together after a while

THE NUMBER 1 QUESTION HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU POST ?
3- 5 Times a day more then 1 time a day. Do a mixture of the posts

WHAT SHOULD YOU POST IN SOCIAL MEDIA

– BLOG POSTS
– Inspirational Quotes
– Questions
– Podcasts (that you love)
– Lifestyle pictures ( I am the business so I cannot separate it from my lifestyle)
– Videos
– Facebook Live VIDEO!

WHERE CAN YOU GET CONTENT WHEN YOU ARE BRAND NEW

Start with a ad spend of $5 dollars a day. This is important to getting exposure to your business.
study your targeting .Review system campaign on Facebook Advertising

Find a post on your page that tugs on peoples hearts and run traffic to that…
It’s a emotional trigger…

Build a community that gets you and that’s that…

Now you are on your way to to mastering social media.. it’s going to take some time but you can do this…
